East Meadow BOE to Host Budget Presentation

The meeting will take place on at the Leon J. Campo Center on Tuesday night.

The East Meadow Board of Education will host a presentation for its proposed 2013-14 school budget for parents on Tuesday.

The proposed budget is $188,239,972, a 1.83 percent increase over the 2012-13 budget. The amount of money collected from taxpayers would be a 2.49 increase of $131 million.

School board officials said that no school programs will be cut in the proposed budget.

The presentation will be held at the Leon J. Campo Center at 7 p.m.
