Clarke Students Place First in NCC Arts and Science Fair

Three W.T. Clarke Middle School students recently took first place in Nassau Community College's Fifteenth Annual Arts and Science Fair.
Danielle Fuchs, Skylar Hanson and Cindy Pham’s won with their project, “The Effect of Propeller Size on the Energy Production of Windmills.”
The students worked for several months to conduct background research and to perform experiments in preparation for the science competition. The entrants displayed their research on project boards and then presented their findings to a panel of judges.
