Clarke Student Named Finalist in Coca Cola Scholars Program

Daniel Wang was selected as one of 250 finalists and will be flown to Atlanta in April.

Daniel Wang, a senior at W.T. Clarke High School, was selected as one of 250 finalists in the 2012-2013 Coca Cola Scholars Program, a national scholarship program that draws over 100,000 applicants.

Wang will be flown to  Atlanta in April for a weekend program for scholars, including a banquet, interviews, and service activities. Two hundred finalists will receive a $10,000 award while 50 finalists will receive a  $20,000 award.

The Coca Cola Scholars Program "provides scholarship programs and alumni enrichment opportunities in support of exceptional peoples' thirst for knowledge and their desire to make a difference in the world."
