Bowling Green K-Kids Host Operation Smile Fundraiser

More than $100 was raised for Operation Smile, an organization that helps treat facial deformities.

The Bowling Green K-Kids recently held their Operation Smile Fundraiser at Wendy's in Garden City.

Bowling Green K-Kid Justin Infante's aunt, Ellen Fernanado, will be volunteering on Operation Smile’s upcoming mission in Rwanda, Africa.

Over the past few years, the Bowling Green K-Kids have been able to support Fernando's and Operation Smile's missions in Jordan and Guatemala.

The Wendy’s fundraiser raised $170 for the organization.

Operation Smile is a worldwide children's charity organization that helps treat facial deformities. The organization also gives children a chance to go to school.  A donation of  $240 can provide a free surgery for a child suffering from cleft lip or cleft palate.
