Author Teaches Bowling Green Students About the Writing Process

Bowling Green Elementary School  students were recently given a presentation by Kathleen Bart, author of “A Tale of Two Teddies: Celebrating the History of the Teddy Bear," on the writing process, according to the East Meadow School District.

Bart spoke about this history of the teddy bear and how the stuffed animal became a worldwide icon.

She also shared with the children what she feels is the most important thing that she utilizes in her writing process.

“I use my imagination to draw and write about the things I like most,” she said.
