Readers' Choice Winner: Fingerprints Salon

The people of East Meadow have spoken and when it comes to nail salons, there were two that stood above the rest.

In to decide the best nail salon in town, more than 1,700 residents cast their vote by 9 a.m. Friday, with and Fingerprints Salon collecting a majority of the votes. However, there can only be one winner.

And that winner is: .

Receiving 1,001 votes by 9 a.m., compared to 818 for Get Nailed, Fingerprints pulled away in one of the largest votes ever on East Meadow Patch.

Located in a tiny shopping center on Bellmore Road, down the block from the Parkway School, Fingerprints Salon offers a wide array of services -- this includes manicures, pedicures, makeup application, waxing, facials, massages, hair coloring and styling. Specials range from hair straightening to massages and facials and there are many work stations, ensuring that all clients are serviced quickly. Walk-ins are accepted, but appointments are preferred.
