VIDEO: Nassau Republicans Rally at Levittown Hall

GOP head Joe Mondello introduced the crowd to all of the candidates in supervisor, legislator, judge and council races.

Thursday night was rally night for the Republicans running for positions in County and Town governments across Nassau.

The rally took place at Levittown Hall in Hicksville. GOP chair Joseph Mondello introduced the candidates to the Republican constituents. Many of the candidates, as well as Republican leaders not up for election, spoke in an effort to rally their supporters in an effort to get a significant turnout for Tuesday's elections.

Of course they would, but who wants to agree to concessions. That's precisely why these organizations have formed a union. They don't wont to be 'equal'. They want the power to be 'collectively selfish'. Why do you think that Suozzi (Democrat) and Mangano (Republican) are so despised by the PBA? Because they both want the insanity to stop. They both wanted the gravy train to pull into the station. But this train has no plans on doing so - it wants to plow on, full speed ahead, until the wheels fall off.

Lawmakers shoulld lead by example; don't ask the people to do what you aren't willing to do yourself.

The wheels are loose and the train is about to crash. Taxpayers cannot afford these excesses, and the cops need to face the reality of the situation. While they do an excellent job, they are overpaid. Yes, the cost of living on LI is high, but their compenation package is one of the reasons.

I hope they attend the peoples rally today in front of Cedar Creek Park at 12:00pm in Wantagh-Seaford. The "Preserve and Protect" rally seeks to address issues like privatization of our sewer system and police precinct closures.

Again Kate Murray fails to tell residents that she is using $30 million in reserves to give us a tax freeze, $12 million more than last year. Spending is increasing $11.8 million. In summary, take a look at what Kate accomplished while she was Supervisor And yes, she does approve Special District budgets, she just doesn't want to admit to it.
