Thursday night's Summer Movie Night and Summer Concert Under the Stars will be rescheduled for a future date.

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced that Thursday night's Outdoor Summer Movie Night at ’s Lakeside Theatre as well as the Summer Concert Under the Stars at Wantagh Park will both be cancelled due to the severe weather that is expected in the area.

The movie and concert will be rescheduled for the near future, please stayed tuned for the announcement.

“Due to the fact that Long Island often has warm, humid conditions throughout the summer months that are conducive to thunderstorms and lightning, I encourage residents to take every precaution during storms such as the one expected to pass through Nassau County today,” said County Executive Mangano.
