McKevitt Hosting Toys for Tots Donation Drive
Donations may be dropped off at the assemblyman's district office in East Meadow until Dec. 17.
Assemblyman Tom McKevitt encourages residents of his 17th Assembly District to think of a child in need this holiday season by donating to Toys for Tots.
Every holiday season, the U.S. Marine Corps works with local communities to collect new, unwrapped toys to be distributed during the holidays to less fortunate children in the community the toys were collected.
“Toys for Tots is a great way to give a child in need a special holiday treat and I look forward to a very successful program this year,” McKevitt said.
McKevitt will be hosting a Toys for Tots donation box at his district office in East Meadow until Dec. 17. Donations may be dropped off at 1975 Hempstead Turnpike, Suite 202, any weekday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For additional information call 228-4960.
