Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano recently announced that a "Family Fitness Day" will be held at the in East Meadow on May 19.
The theme of the day is exercise, and there will be a variety of free classes for people who have leisure passes.
The day starts off with a Zumba class at 9 a.m. Spinning will be offered at 10:15 a.m., Boot Camp at 11:15 a.m., and Tai Chi/Yoga will be at 12:30 p.m. Class space is limited and will be available on a first come first serve basis.
