"CLOSING ONE PRECINCT IS CLOSING ONE TO MANY"

SAY NO TO PRECINCT CLOSURES!

On Monday March 5th at 1pm, the Nassau County Legislature will be voting on amending the local law to eliminate the 5th, 6th, 8th and 1st precincts and converting them to "Community Policing Centers".

This will have a profoundly negative affect on public safety and quality of life in Nassau County.

We urge everyone to attend this meeting. It will be held at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building at 1550 Franklin Avenue, Mineola.

The entrance is in the rear of the building, just south of Old Country Road.

The PBA along with the DAI and SOA will be attending to voice our opposition and make sure all unanswered questions are vetted out. Let your neighbors and friends know to attend too. In addition, if you cannot attend but want to voice your opposition to this anti public safety change in the law, you can call your local legislator.

All the democratic legislators are OPPOSED to the plan that eliminates 4 precincts.

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

If can get in and out without a problem I would not. I would rather ask them to move their carRead More back. It's not worth making a life long enemy.

Yes my answer was serious.... I gave you different comments regarding your question. The pics youRead More provided is how I based my answer.... Point was did it create an issue for you and does it occur all the time. If it was a one time incident as small as it was you decide?
