Erika Barello Named Grand Prize Winner in Photo Contest

The Clarke student wowed the judges to earn the top honor.

Sen. Kemp Hannon, R-Garden City, recently congratulated Erika Barello, a student at , who was named the Grand Prize Winner in Hannon’s “Best In Town” Photo Contest. 

Divided into four categories (Animals, Nature, People and Places), Hannon recognized the outstanding photographic efforts of high school students in his district.

All photos were judged by a panel including a Pulitzer Prize winning photographer, and were based on photographic quality, creativity, and success in conveying the “Best In Town” or unique character of the community or photograph.
