Eisenhower Park Tribute Remembers Those Lost on Sept. 11

On the 12-year anniversary, locals pay tribute to Nassau County residents who died.

Nassau County residents gathered at Eisenhower Park Sunday to remember those lost as a result of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Family members read the names of those who died, and attendees lit candles to pay tribute.

The Massapequa Association of Girl Scouts led the National Anthem, while the St. Anthony's High School Celtic Friars bag pipe band played Amazing Grace.
