Cat adoption promotion is a plus, the alternative is for cats to remain in shelter. Many caring people seek to adopt from Animal Shelters to improve plight of both cats and dogs.

How much revenue, is being lost to the Town ? Bonilla just blew his Fake Budget Projection ! http://eastmeadow.patch.com/blog_posts/hempstead-town-clerk-mark-bonilla-budgets-600k-in-payments-from-hempstead-animal-shelter-in-2011 Which would you rather have...Lower Taxes and "User Fees", Or Waived Fees for adopting a Cat ??? Somehow the Town's Logic in creating tax revenue, has been taken over by the "Do Gooders" here in ? Also, when the cat population Explodes, then what kind of "adjustment" is going to be made ? Silly games from Silly People we elect and appoint !

Spoke to workers at the shelter. There are many litters born in springtime, and they overflow with young cats/ kittens by this time.

I hope that they are really carefull to check people out before they give away free cats. There are sicko's out there that have their girlfriends adopt a cat for them and then they feed them to large pet snakes.
