Candidate Profile: Kevin C. Brady

Levittowner seeks to unseat incumbent Assemblyman Thomas McKevitt.

Party: Working Families

Hometown: Levittown

Bio: Kevin Brady grew up in Levittown, the son of a PTA community leader and an NYPD veteran. Not a Democrat or a Republican, Kevin believes that his hometown should be represented by one of its own in Albany – not a partisan agenda. At Stony Brook University, Brady became the first gay male elected to the Stony Brook University Senate. He was lead senator on the $2.5 million budget. He helped reform the budget hearing process, passing new accounting and transparency requirements. Brady also is a recipient of the Glenn Magpantay Award for community leadership from Stony Brook University. He also worked for the campaign of Eva Pearson as she ran for county legislator.
