Two Men Busted for Salisbury Burglary

A woman came home Sunday to find her air conditioner pushed in and jewelry missing, police said.

Two men were arrested Sunday after breaking into a Salisbury home and stealing jewelry, police said.

According to police, the female victim, 54, arrived to her Page Lane home at around 6:30 p.m. and discovered her air conditioner had been pushed into the living room. After entering the home, she also realizes that numerous jewelry boxes were missing, according to Third Precinct detectives.

A short time later, police say that the victim’s son spotted Anthony Spatafora, 21, of Westbury, and Cole Hanzich, 19, of Uniondale, placing garbage bags at the curb a few houses away that contained the victim’s jewelry boxes.
