Three Sent to NUMC after East Meadow Crash

The cause of the accident, which occurred at 11:20 a.m., is unknown at this point, and three people were transported to NUMC with "non-life-threatening injuries," according to Chief Carl Pugliese.

Two other patients refused treament, Pugliese added.

Ambulances 615, 6144 and 6115 transported the patients to NUMC. Engine 613 and Heavy Rescue 616 responded to the scene as well. Pugliese, Chief Walter Griffin and Chief Robert Salvesen secured the scene.
