Three Arrested For Drug Possession in Walmart Parking Lot

Police witnessed a drug deal happen late Friday night in East Meadow.

Three people were arrested for drug possession just before 9 p.m. Friday in the parking lot in East Meadow.

According to police, third precinct officers witnessed a drug transaction take place between two vehicles in the Walmart parking lot. Police say that William Yochman, 27, and Danielle Walsh, 26, both from East Islip, allegedy sold marijuana to Emrah Huryilmaz, 29, from Ozone Park.

At the time of arrest, police say that Hochman was found to be in possession of marijuana, hydrocodone and suboxone.

Yochman was charged with two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth degree criminal sale of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana. Walsh, who police say is currently a teacher in the West Islip School District, was charged with fourth degree criminal sale of marijuana. Huryilmaz was charged with fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana.

Yochman will be arraigned in first district court in Hempstead on Saturday, while Walsh and Huryilmaz will be arraigned on April 19.
