Police Seeking Public's Help in Identifying Robber

Crime Stoppers releases composite sketch of a man police say is wanted in connection with numerous robberies of oil delivery persons throughout the county.

After a rash of robberies and assaults of oil delivery persons throughout Nassau County, Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man pictured in the above composite sketch.

According to police, between Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, at approximately 2:06 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 27, at approximately 7:59 a.m. police said the pictured suspect is believed to have worked in concert with others who have assaulted and robbed several oil delivery persons of cash and personal property while they were making oil deliveries to residential homes throughout the county.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who may have information about these crimes or can identify the suspect to call 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
