Police Seeking Info on East Meadow Rape

The incident occurred back in August on Hempstead Turnpike.

Nassau County Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the pictured subject wanted in connection with a rape which occurred in East Meadow back in August.

According to police, on Thursday, Aug. 18, at approximately 5 a.m., the pictured unknown subject allegedly raped a victim in the vicinity of 1650 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow. The subject also displayed a knife, police said.

The subject fled in an unknown direction. He is described as a black male in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5-foot-9 with a slight beard. He was wearing orange basketball shorts, a T-shirt, black, grey and white sneakers, and a blue backpack.
