Police Searching for Woods Avenue Robbers

Two men suffered facial fractures during the invasion, police said.

Police are searching for the people responsible for attacking and robbing residents of a Woods Avenue home early Tuesday morning, according to First Precinct detectives.

According to detectives, four to six male subjects, allegedly armed with a handgun, entered the home at around 2 a.m. They demanded money from six victims, ranging in ages 18-65.

During the invasion, two of the male victims were pistol whipped by the subjects, police said. These victims sustained head and facial fractures, and were admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

According to police, the perpetrators fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and a laptop in a dark-colored vehicle westbound on Woods Avenue.

No other injuries were reported.

The suspects are described by police as males in their late teens to early 20s. They were all wearing masks or had shirts covering their faces, police said. No further description is available.
