Update: Police Searching For Ava Drive Burglary Suspects

Two men were observed on home surveillance video wearing masks, gloves and dark clothing, police said.

Nassau County Police are seeking the public's help regarding a residential burglary on Ava Drive in late November.

Third Squad detectives report the 49-year-old resident discovered that two male African Americans had entered his home through a rear, unlocked door at approximately 1:45 a.m. Nov. 25 and removed a jacket containing his wallet and an unknown amount of money.

Both suspects were observed on the victim’s home surveillance video wearing masks, gloves and dark clothing, police said. The first suspect is described as six foot-four inches tall with a thin build. The second suspect is approximately five foot-seven inches to five foot-nine inches tall.

Both men were last seen fleeing through the rear yard onto East Meadow High School property.
