Police Search For Robbery Suspect in East Meadow
A man robbed two teenagers of their pocketbooks and cell phones, police said .
Police are searching for a man who robbed two 17-year-old females on Monday morning.
There were no injuries.
According to police, the two victims were walking on Jeffrey Avenue around 1:08 a.m. when they were approached by a Hispanic man with slicked back dark hair.
The suspect demanded their pocketbooks and their cell phones. The victims complied after the suspect threatened to stab them, police said.
The suspect then fled north on Jeffrey Avenue toward Warren Street on foot.
