UPDATE: Police Search For Suspect in Home Depot Burglary

The suspect allegedly produced a fraudulent receipt to return non-purchased items at the store in May.

Nassau County Police and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect who was allegedly took part in a burglary that occurred in back in May.

Around 10:25 a.m. on May 5, the suspect entered the Home Depot and produced a fraudulent receipt to return non-purchased items, police said.

After being approached by a loss prevention officer, the suspect fled the scene, authorities said.

Anyone who has any information about the crime is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS (8477). All calls will be confidential.
