The Garden City Police Department was one of several departments to work on the case. According to Nassau police, the arrests came through a combined effort between the GCPD, Citibank, the Nassau County Crimes Against Property Squad and the Eighth Squad.

Citibank spokesperson Catherine Pulley told Patch that the bank identified the criminals using their own security measures, including their own skimmers. She also invited those affected to visit their local branches for help.
