Kevin Allen allegedly struck and pushed down the 79-year-old victim.

A teenager was arrested this week after he allegedly struck and pushed down a 79-year-old male security guard at Uniondale High School, police said.

According to police, Kevin Allen, 17, was observed inside Uniondale High School on Thursday after he was expelled and prohibited from the grounds. The security guard instructed Allen to leave the school property numerous times, but he refused.

Allen then struck the guard in the back of his head and pushed him to the ground, police said.

The victim required medical attention and was treated and released for neck pain and swelling to his legs, authorities said.

Allen was charged with second-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal trespass.
