I would think the victim would be the poor girl driver that had to deal with someone unstable enough to lay in the road...Have her property damaged and go through the ordeal of possibly getting lawyers and legal fees...The man laying in the street will get represented no matter what, even possibly a great lawyer may volunteer for this man since its a catchy news worthy story. possibly sue, receive disability benefits if injured..its the strangest thing, but the US justice system takes care of the criminal and ment

What kind of " human being" defends the driver who runs over someone lying in the street? He could be sick, dead, the victim of crime or mentally ill. Aren't your eyes open when you drive? I realize accidents happen but to call the driver the victim.....whoa !

There are no hard facts here. Perhaps they are both victims. As a driver you do not expect to see someone LAYING in the roadway. The shock that the driver must feel. As for the person in the roadway, it is an unfortunate circumstance. They are both be victims in the above scenario...

Well you have a functioning brain, Rick must think this young lady deliberately hit this person..........................who wants to take a nap on the road..he must support the current justice system that bankrupts the tax payer, and keeps criminals out in the public...Too many rights for bad people today...
