Derek Arms was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery.

A man was arrested this week for his involvement in a string of Chinese delivery robberies in Uniondale.

Derek Arms, 41, of Uniondale was charged for the following robberies:

  • While delivering food to Meadbrook Road in Uniondale, a 69-year-old deliveryman from New Mei Ho Kitchen in Uniondale was approached by Arms who displayed what appeared to be a gun and demanded the victim’s money.
  • On Friday, July 27, Arms displayed a hand gun and demanded money from a 39 year-old deliveryman from Kyee Kitchen in Uniondale, as he delivered food to Hempstead Boulevard.
  • On July 28, 2012, Arms allegedly displayed a gun and demanded money from a 32-year-old deliveryman from New Wok King in Roosevelt as he delivered food to Pennywood Avenue.


Arms was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery.
