Update: Hempstead Man Arrested For DWI in East Meadow

Errol Brown, 24, was charged with driving while intoxicated and caused his three passengers to be hospitalized.

A Hempstead Man was arrested in East Meadow on Saturday after he allegedly drove while intoxicated on Southern State Parkway, causing his three passengers to be injured, New York State Police said. 

According to police, Errol Brown, 24, was driving a 2006 Nissan eastbound on the Southern State Parkway with three passengers when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the trees along the southern shoulder of the roadway.

All of the occupants in the vehicle, including Brown, were injured and transported to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment. 

Brown was charged with driving while intoxicated and faces additional vehicle and traffic law charges in relation to the crash.
