A West Hempstead man allegedly approached a female outside the Coliseum.

A Nassau man was arrested on charges he forcibly touched a female in the Nassau Coliseum parking lot after the Islanders game on Sunday night.

According to detectives, a 21-year-old victim was standing outside the Uniondale-based Coliseum with friends when Craig Stanley, 54, of West Hempstead allegedly approached the group and proceeded to touch the victim in an inappropriate manner.

Craig Stanley
Craig Stanley, 54, was arrested by police in New York on March 3, 2013 and charged with forcible touching. He is accused of slapping a woman's buttocks outside the Nassau Coliseum as an odd and inappropriate congratulatory gesture celebrating the woman's birthday. Stanley denies slapping the woman's butt; rather, he insists that he slapped the woman on the back. Stanley is a rabid Islander fan who is known for heckling the team's owner Charles Wang back in 2001 during a meeting with fans. Stanley reportedly angered Wang at the meeting by asking multiple times why he hired a particular manager. Eventually, Wang shot back at Stanley to "sit down and shut up." The following Official Record of Craig Stanley is being redistributed by Mugshots.com and is protected by constitutional, publishing, and other legal rights. This Official Record was collected on 3/08/2013.

@Marianne.. sure do.. put plenty of people in jail and escorted them to their holding cells.. didnt always agree with their situation.. but some deserve it and I am going to keep putting skells behind bars!!!! .. wasnt craig stanley quoted in Newsday recently saying.. he touched the girls back and not her badonkadonk like she said.. maybe its just me.. but if you do not kow a girl.. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU TOUCH HER ANYWHERE IN THE FIRST PLACE... ???
Brent M. March 11, 2013 at 06:45 pm
Model Citizen I guess...
marianne krause March 11, 2013 at 07:00 pm
see brent with your knowledge i assumed you were guilty of being an inmate see how that works ?
Brent M. March 11, 2013 at 09:03 pm
@Marianne .. true that..( although in our numerous battles over cops, Im pro-cops, cops are here to protect us, you think I would be an inmate who ADAMANTLY defends cops, is weird) ..still think if someone you dont know touches you for no reason what so ever, especially if its a 21 yr old girl.. is wrong.. and I still think if found guilty.. JAIL JAIL!!! and then Civil Lawsuits.. and I am proud to say SKELL DESERVES JAIL!!!!
Brent M. March 11, 2013 at 09:04 pm

The intelligence factor on these posts are in fact just shy of a group of q tips. The smart money says let the courts decide and stay out of it. If he is indeed guilty he's guilty if he is not he's not. Either way he will not do jail time. If jail time was mandatory for touching or a slap on the ass I would be doing life.
Withstanding that. A preceding civil suit should only be determined after a prelimary case has been satisfied frivolous or not. Bottom line. Lets go Islanders!!!! Not.....
Brent M. March 13, 2013 at 02:45 pm
yeah.. and a crap load of legal fees and bills.. so either way.. the guy loses
Lycanthrope March 13, 2013 at 05:19 pm
It is what it is. We are all guilty of bad choices once in a while. Mistakes always costs you a few greenbacks. I personally don't call them mistakes any longer I use the word experience.
Brent M. March 13, 2013 at 06:39 pm
yeah..lol.. an EXPENSIVE Experience! haha
Lycanthrope March 13, 2013 at 09:05 pm
Possibly but I will not judge, laugh, or find humor in others unfortunate situations or unwell being.
Brent M. March 14, 2013 at 12:27 am
True.. thats your opinion.. mine from putting Skells in jail.. say they have no body but themselves to blame and yeah , now you have to pay.. Not in every case. but its unfortunate for the victim if the perp is convicted.. not unfortunate for the perp

What's to look into? Neil Koenig was the owner. He's good friends with my cousin. My cousin toldRead More me "he couldn't make a go of it." The last time I was there was in December. The food was just ok and the service was horrible. Not one course was correct and we didn't even change anything from the menu description. Note to the waitress, the appetizer is NOT supposed to come for dessert!! And Rich is correct. The name was Buongusto's PieSano's. I hope the new owners (Lia's) stop serving Chocolate Mouse (should be Mousse) as per the sign on the Prospect Avenue side of the building.
