A South Floral Park man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in front of the Nassau Community College bookstore on Monday, Nassau County police said.
Brian Wint, 20, has been charged with robbery, 2nd degree, and is expected to be arraigned Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.
Cops said an 18-year-old man was walking on campus around 5:25 p.m. Nov. 18 when he was approached by two unidentified men. The two assailants punched and pushed the victim to the ground and took money from his left pocket, according to police.
Wint, and another man police have not yet identified, fled south on Duncan Avenue in a brown Nissan Maxima, cops said. No injuries were reported in the incident.
