Firefighters from the East Meadow and North Bellmore fire departments extinguished a fire that started in the basement of a two-story house located on Falcon Street on Sunday, fire officials said.
There were no injuries.
The fire that started around 4:26 p.m. started in the basement and slightly extended to the main floor, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated, fire officials said.
Fire departments from Bellmore and Wantagh were also on the scene.
