Crime Report: Vehicles Broken Into, Jewelry Theft

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • Sometime between 10 p.m. on Oct. 9 and 3 a.m. on Oct. 10, a vehicle parked on Dannet Place in East Meadow was broken into and a GPS unit was stolen.
  • On Oct. 11, between 12:30 a.m. and 7 a.m., a vehicle parked on Randall Avenue that was left unlocked was broken into and items were taken.
  • Sometime between 9 p.m. on Oct. 6 and 9 p.m. on Oct. 12, jewelry was stolen from a home on Stone Avenue in East Meadow. It had been placed in a dresser inside the home, and police said that they do not believe there was forced entry into the home.
  • On Oct. 12, between 5:30 p. m. and 6 p.m., a vehicle parked on Planders Avenue in Uniondale was scratched.
  • Also on Oct. 12, between 7-10 p.m., a vehicle parked on Uniondale Avenue had a window broken, and items were stolen from the automobile.
  • On Oct. 11, between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., a vehicle on Goodrich Street in Uniondale was broken into and items were stolen.
