Crime Report: Thieves Arrested and Zafonte Surrenders

Crimes reported by the Nassau County first, third and eighth precincts.

Three East Meadow men morning for stealing more than $50,000 in jewelry from Tri-County Flea Market in Levittown, according to police.

According to eighth precinct detectives, one subject distracted the clerk at Zareen Exclusive Fine Jewelry, while the other stole a display case of earrings. They both fled, and the third suspect picked them up outside, which led to their escape.
