Crime Report: Narcotics Arrest, Westbury Robber

Crimes reported by Nassau County's first and third precincts, as well as New York State Police.

A Baldwin woman was at the Tuesday afternoon. According to police, Nicole Colletti, 28, was observed on surveillance acting suspiciously in the visitor's area of the jail. She was found to be in possession of narcotics and other contraband, and she was placed under arrest.

Other Crime News

  • Police are searching for a man that on March 19 and made off with $700 cash. According to detectives, the female victim, 51, was approached just after 7 a.m. inside her business on Carman Avenue by a man, described to be a white male in his 20s, who demanded cash from the register.
  • Jeanette Johnson of Uniondale was arrested for stealing $38.35 worth of merchandise from on Front Street on March 13.
  • Sometime between March 12-14, an unknown person broke into various vehicles on Hempstead Turnpike and stole assorted tools.
  • On March 14 at 1:45 a.m., a car on Chambers Avenue had its front passenger side window smashed, and the inside was ransacked.

Nobody mentioned in this report has been convicted of a crime. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty by the court of law.
