Crime Report: Murder Arrest, Shoplifter Busted

- On May 6, Guy Bedford, 24, of East Meadow was arrested on Birch Place in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated.
- Sometime between 7 p.m. on April 6 and 9 a.m. on April 7, items were stolen from a vehicle that was parked on Jefferson Street in East Meadow. Police did not specify whether the vehicle was unlocked, and there was no damage to the automobile.
- Edgar Crawford, of Port Washington, was arrested on May 2 at 5:15 p.m. for allegedly stealing $260 worth of batteries from in East Meadow.
- On May 5, after 2:20 a.m., a vehicle on Sixth Street was broken into, and an EZ Pass was stolen.
