Crime Report: Menacing Arrest, Shoplifters, Car Break-ins

  • On April 5, after 1:05 a.m., a GPS was stolen from a vehicle that was parked on Wagstaff Drive in East Meadow.
  • Sometime between 10 p.m. on April 3 and 9 a.m. on April 4, another GPS was stolen from an unlocked vehicle that was parked on Meadow Street.
  • On April 8, police discovered a broken beer bottle at one of the ballfields at the on Merrick Avenue. Landscaping structures were also disassembled, police said.
  • On April 12, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police arrested Michael J. Chirieleison, from North Bellmore, for allegedly stealing $41 worth of merchandise from
  • Also on April 12, after 11:30 a.m., an unknown subject walked out of 7-Eleven at 2138 Hempstead Turnpike without paying.
  • Sometime between 7:35 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on April 9, a vehicle parked on Merrick Avenue in East Meadow had its window broken.
  • On April 7, between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., a vehicle parked on Wilson Road South had its doors keyed.
