Crime Report: Items Removed From Handbag, Man Carjacked
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- On Dec. 5, a woman reported that her driver's license removed from her handbag after she left it in a shopping cart.
- Police are searching for a man who carjacked a 72-year-old man on Hempstead Turnpike on Dec. 10. The suspect is described as a white man, who is 25 to 30-years-old, around 220 pounds and has a mustache.
