Crime Report: Items Removed From Handbag, Man Carjacked

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.

  • On Dec. 5, a woman reported that her driver's license removed from her handbag after she left it in a shopping cart.
  • Police are searching for a man who carjacked a 72-year-old man on Hempstead Turnpike on Dec. 10. The suspect is described as a white man, who is 25 to 30-years-old, around 220 pounds and has a mustache.

I agree. If they were going to steal something, why would they steal the license and not the cash or credit cards?

Because you can sell a license to an undocumented immigrant for more cash than you'd find in a wallet and none of the risk of using a stolen credit card. That's why. You're forgetting that you no longer live in a safe, white, suburban community. It's a ghetto on all sides, East Meadow, and it's closing in on you.
