Crime Report: Cell Phone Stolen, Woman Arrested in Connection to Bank Robbery
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.
- Arlene Abreu, 34, of Central Islip was arrested on March 13 for for allegedly allowing a car she rented to be used in an East Meadow bank robbery that occurred in January.
- A cell phone that was left unattended on a table was stolen from Aura Nightclub on March 15.
- On March 16, items were removed from an unlocked car that was parked on Ramona Street.
