Crime Report: Bike Stolen, Woman Arrested in County Jail

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department; it does not indicate a conviction.

  • On Aug. 14, a USB was removed from vehicle parked on Maple Avenue.
  • A bike was stolen from a shed on Stuyvesant Avenue on Aug. 13.

It's a common story every night...Car scratching, stealing, vandalism, trespassing and graffitti and hardly any police presence in East Meadow. I know people that live on Stuyvesant St. and they have a lot of nightime problems with their cars being vandalized. In the rare event that these midnight creatins are caught, they almost never get any jail time, even with 2 or 3 arrests under their belt.
