Crime Report: 3-Year-Old Injured in Crash, Woman Attempts to Fill Phony Prescription

Recent criminal activity reported in southeast Nassau County communities.

  • On June 30, items were removed from an unlocked car parked on Blaine Avenue
  • An unknown suspect walked on the hood of a car, causing damage on July 1. The vehicle was parked on Maxwell Drive.
  • On July 2, the tires of a car parked on Hull Street were slashed.
  • On July 3, a Queens woman was arrested after she allegedly left her young children in her car and attempted to fill a forged prescription for Percocet at an East Meadow pharmacy. 
  • The passenger side of a car parked on Newbridge Road was scratched on July 6. 
  • On July 7, a 3-year-old boy was taken to an area hospital after a two-car collision on Newbridge Road. The drivers of both cars were issued summons
