Crime Nearby: Multiple Shoplifting Incidents

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Bellmore

  • On Nov. 11, items were removed from a vehicle that was located on Broadway Avenue.
  • Items were removed from an unlocked vehicle on Willard Street. This happened on Nov. 14 and Nov. 15 between 11:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. 

East Meadow

  • A shoplifter removed about $57 worth of groceries from Pathmark on Front Street.  This happened on Nov. 14.
  • On Nov. 14, items were removed from an unlocked vehicle located on 8th Avenue.
  • Unsecured storage containers were removed from outside of the CVS on Hempstead Turnpike.
  • Side view mirror inserts were stolen off of a vehicle that was parked on Cypress Avenue on Nov. 15.
  • On Nov. 16, items were removed from an auto on Cypress Avenue.
  • Items were removed from a vehicle on McCay Court on Nov. 16.
  • A shoplifter removed $63 worth of items at CVS on Hempstead Turnpike. The incident happened on Nov. 17.
  • There was damage done to a truck that was located on Hempstead Turnpike on Nov. 20.

Merrick

  • A vehicle window was broken and a radio was removed from a vehicle parked at the LIRR station. The incident took place on Nov. 17.

The Seventh Precinct, which covers parts of Bellmore, Merrick as well as Wantagh and Seaford, did not submit a crime report for the week ending Nov. 19.
