Crime Nearby: Men with Burglary Tools Arrested, Drug Store Thefts

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • On March 17, there was damage reported to the front door of Boces.
  • Sometime between March 18 and March 19, an unknown person/s did pour an acidic liquid around the perimeter of two vehicles, one parked in the street one parked in the driveway, causing damage to the vehicles. The incident happened on Croydon Drive.
  • On March 22, an unknown person removed items worth $733 from Rite Aid.
  • An unknown person did damage to property on Bellmore Avenue with a BB gun. This happened between March 22 and March 23.
  • Sometime between March 22 and March 23, an unknown person(s) removed listed property from victim’s vehicle, which was located on Roosevelt Avenue. Vehicle was not locked and there was no forced entry.
  • On March 24, an unknown person did remove $355 worth of products from CVS.

East Meadow

  • Donald Loper, of Levittown, was arrested from removing alcoholic beverages from 7-Eleven on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow without paying for them. This happened on March 19.
  • Sometime between March 20 and March 21, a bottle of pills was reported missing from a Roxboro Court residence.
  • On March 22, Anthony Bradley, of Freeport, was arrested for removing items from Home Depot.
  • Sometime between March 24 and March 25, damage was done to a fence on Prospect Avenue.
  • On March 25, a vehicle window was damaged while it was located on Second Avenue. No loss was reported.

Merrick

  • On March 24, a complainant discovered the driver side window broken of their 2007 gray Honda. The vehicle was located on Colonial Avenue.
  • A 2004 gray Porsche was keyed while parked on Merrick Road on March 24.

Seaford

  • On March 22, an unknown suspect shot a BB gun at the front bay window of a residence on Harbor Boulevard. The shot caused a small hole.
  • On March 23, Lauren Scanzano, 20, of Seaford, was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Unqua Road, Massapequa and charged with driving while intoxicated.
  • On March 24, Gustavo Diaz, 26, of Staten Island, was arrested on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway, Seaford and charged with petit larceny and three counts of possession of burglary tools.
  • On March 24, Humberto Sarante, 26, of Brooklyn, was arrested on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway, Seaford and charged with petit larceny and possession of burglary tools.

Wantagh

  • Sometime between March 20 and March 23, two manhole covers were stolen from Wantagh Avenue.
  • On March 23, Dina Pastore, 41, of Wantagh, was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Oakland Avenue, Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated, two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and one violation of the vehicle and traffic law.
  • On March 26, Pamela Kubis, 60, of Wantagh was arrested on Briard Street near Edgerton Avenue, Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated.
