Cops: Woman Fakes Seizure While Accomplice Robs Store

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the woman.

An unidentified woman faked a seizure while her accomplice stole more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from Home Depot in East Meadow, Nassau County police said.

Cops are now seeking the public's help in identifying the woman seen in security footage at a local hospital. Police say she left the hospital before being identified.

The grand larceny occurred just before noon on May 28, police said.

While present in the store the subject did pretend to have a seizure near the registers while her accomplice exited the store with $1,357 worth of merchandise, according to police. The woman's accomplice fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify her, or has any information about this crime, to call the toll free hotline at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
