Cops: Pregnant Teen Bites, Kicks Arresting Officers

Sinaia Jackson was at NUMC for medical clearance to be processed for earlier arrest when she allegedly became violent with police officers assigned to her.

A pregnant teenager already arrested for an incident earlier Saturday was at the hospital being cleared for processing when she allegedly became violent with officers and was arrested a second time, Nassau County police said.

According to police, Sinaia Jackson, 18, of Uniondale was in police custody at undergoing a physical to make sure she could be processed for an earlier arrest when she began kicking and biting an officer assigned to her.

The officer suffered a laceration to his right hand and head trauma, police stated. A second officer was kicked in the chest as he gained control of the defendant. Police added that during arrest processing Jackson was found to be in possession of a Marijuana cigarette in her pocket.
