Want to Thank Someone Special? Post a 'Thank You' Announcement on Patch

This Thanksgiving, share your gratitude with the Patch community.

Maybe it's an East Meadow teacher or coach who helped your child achieve a goal. Maybe it's a local business owner who helps you get what you need all year long. Maybe it's a volunteer fire department that came to the rescue, or the electrician who helped you regain power following Hurricane Sandy.

Whomever it may be, why not express your gratitude in a special way? You can post a "Thank You" announcement on Patch. With Thanksgiving approaching, it's a great way to show someone you care.

Here's how to post an announcement on Patch:

1. Log on, or create a new user account by clicking here.
2. Visit our Announcements page by clicking here.
3. Click "Add an Announcement" on the right side of the page. Follow the steps and be sure to select "Thank You" as the category.
4. Click "Post My Announcement" at the bottom of the page, and it's live.

On Thanksgiving, we'll collect everyone's "Thank You" notes into one big article for the whole community to see.

From Wantagh-Seaford Patch to you, "thank you" for posting your "thank you" announcement.

Thank you to all military personnel active and inactive for your service to this fine country. We thank you immensely for keeping us safe. Thank god we have people like you. The military must stand strong against those who think otherwise here and abroad. Without you we are lost. Continue the fight and fight we must to stay secure in this country.. Continue to keep the enemy overseas and to never ever breech our borders ever again...
