Patch Question: Which Businesses Should Fill Meadow Crossing?

The former Exxon location is slotted to become a new shopping center.

In December of 2011, Patch that a new group of stores are slated to be built at the space formerly belonging to Exxon at the intersection of Newbridge Road and Hempstead Turnpike.

Located at 2464 Hempstead Turnpike, the “Meadow Crossing” will supposedly include several storefronts that are divisible up to 4,200 square feet, according to a sign currently on the property. Units at the new development are to be leased by In Line Realty. The Exxon station that was operating on the site closed up shop.

While the tanks have been removed from the property, the canopy from the gas station remains, and progress hasn't been made for quite some time. This leads to today's Patch Question.
