With the hot topic around East Meadow being the of Sonic Drive-in, some people often forget the vacant property just across the street that was once occupied by 25 Food Mart.
The building sits at the intersection of East Meadow Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike near the entrance to Eisenhower Park, and it has been vacant with no visible progress being made for several months.
All residents can see is the small sign that still says "25 Food Mart" and a large "For Rent" sign. Those interested in making an inquiry on the vacant space should call August James Realty Group at 338-8900.
