John A. Kowalski of East Meadow passed away Jan. 20. He was 81.
Mr. Kowalski is the beloved husband of Concetta; devoted father of Robert (Laura), Richard, Susan Averso (Anthony) and the late Dennis; loving stepfather of Michael Leonetti (Rosemary) and Susan Leonetti; cherished grandfather of Robert, Christopher, Caroline, Nicholas, Anthony, Danielle, Ericka and stepgrandfather of Katherine, Michelle and Nicholas; and dear brother of Edward (Muriel), Anne Reuther (Charles) and Dr. Joseph Kowalski.
Visitation is Thursday 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Charles J. O'Shea Funeral Home located at 603 Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Brigid Church in Westbury with interment to follow in L.I. National Cemetery in Pinelawn.
