WEEKLY RECAP: Former Corrections Officer Convicted, New Yogurt Shop Opens in East Meadow

3. : The yogurt chain, which now has five locations on Long Island, recently opened on Hempstead Turnpike.

2. : The Freeport woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly assaulting two officers while being searched and for allegedly being found with drugs in on Wednesday, police said.

1. : Mark Barber, 50, of Levittown was convicted of 30 counts of extorting sexual favors from female inmates in Nassau County Correctional Center, District Attorney Kathleen Rice announced on Thursday.

Hi Karen, Thanks for asking about the position(s) at GCA. There are currently a couple of positions…Read More that need filled. The higher, more difficult positions to fill would include Latin 2, AP European History, and the Omnibus - a conglomerate of classes characteristic of classical education. Because we are a Christian school, each of our teachers is required to articulate the Christian gospel through all of their subject areas and to do so from a Scripturally literate point of view. As far as the salary is concerned, that becomes an issue between the candidate and the board and is not handled directly by myself.
